Swedish pop star, Tove lo brought the 4th night of her Sunshine Kitty Tour to the Fillmore Silverspring. The sold-out crowd was dripping in glitter as they danced all night to the singer’s iconic anthems. She delivered a high-energy set that featured songs from all four of her albums, with fan favorites “Disco Tits,” “Talking Body,” and “Hey You Got Drugs?” taking the spotlight. She strutted across the stage with the most contagious confidence, fully flashing the crowd multiple times throughout her set. Highlights include an acoustic piano performance of “Moments” and her opener, Alma, joining her onstage so they could perform “Bitches” together.
Her setup featured a large semi-circle screen outlined with strobe lights that played an explosion of colorful psychedelic visuals throughout the show. She said, “We’ve been putting together this tour since October, and it was really important to me to give you visuals and lights that give you this full experience you can just lose yourself in, It’s also really important to me that it doesn’t feel too perfect because that’s just not me!” It’s safe to say she accomplished her goal. She finished the night with an encore of “Sweettalk My Heart,” “Habits (Stay High),” and newly released “Bikini Porn.”
Finnish singer, Alma, opened the night with a high energy set. Her latest single “Bad News Baby” is out now on PME Records.
