For over 20 years, Dwele has lived in the groove between stardom and obscurity. From his major-label debut Subject to his 2012 release Greater Than One, he’s cultivated a staunch following while working alongside artists like Slum Village, Eric Roberson, Common, and Kanye West. His fans definitely showed up and showed out for his concert at City Winery!
Taking the stage in his winter white with a drink in hand, Dwele had the sold-out City Winery crowd rocking with some of his signature singles like “I Think I Love You,” “A Few Reasons (Truth Pt. 2),” and “My Lova.” The dinner crowd sang and danced along to each of these, with love permeating the Valentine’s Weekend air. He even brought out his horn and played during songs like “I Understand” from his album “Wants World Women.”
