Bedouine @ Songbyrd Music House [DC] - 10/11/2019
Bedouine is a calming, serene voice in a world of chaos. Her latest album Bird Songs of a Killjoy (released through Richmond, VA-based Spacebomb Records) revels in finger-picked guitars accentuated by uplifting strings and horns. At Songbyrd, a stripped-down version of her latest album’s expansive sound won over an attentive crowd, including with a performance of “Bird Gone Wild” and a cover of Elton John’s “Come Down in Time” off his 1970 album Tumbleweed Connection.
