Bad Suns @ 9:30 Club - 4/15/2019

Eighteen months since their last show in the U.S. Capital, the boys of Bad Suns made their long-awaited return to Washington D.C. to play a sold-out show at the 9:30 Club. With a setlist filled with both old and new songs, the band gave the audience a good consolation prize for their absence from the city. The band opened with, “Away We Go,” the first single from their most recent release Mystic Truth, and the energy the band unleashed did not diminish for the rest of the night. Bad Suns are one of many indie-pop groups that have been trending a lot in the 2010s, but their gratitude and modesty were on display throughout the show, making the night about the fans instead of the band’s popularity. Bad Suns cares about their fans, old and new.

Bad Sun’s Mystic Truth is out now. Check out photos from their recent set at the 9:30 Club below.
