Maggie Rogers has had a very meteoric rise since the viral video where she (while still an NYU student) had Pharrell Williams in tears after playing “Alaska.” Now, she’s selling out venues nationwide, including multiple nights at DC’s 9:30 Club and has already announced a fall tour with a stop at the much larger Anthem this October. But even with another DC stop looming near, she once again danced her way into everyone’s hearts with an energetic performance.
Maggie Rogers’ debut album Heard It in a Past Life is out now through Capitol Records.
Opening for Maggie Rogers was Melanie Faye, whose latest release is the self-released single “Eternally 12” featuring Mac DeMarco.
