Benny Sings @ Union Stage [DC] - 9/7/2019
Tim van Berkestijn, also known as Benny Sings, hails from the Netherlands and makes some of the funkiest, laid back music on either side of the Atlantic. Nowhere is this as visible as on his latest album, City Pop (out now through Stones Throw Records). Along with funk/disco-influenced band Argonaut and Wasp opening, there was no shortage of dancing on this Saturday night at Union Stage.
